| When betting on spreads
involving groups of matches (for instance selling the total goals in the Division One
matches on a Saturday) different volatilities and unit stakes must be applied as the
volatility of the spreads increase exponentially as the the number of matches increases. The following tables documents
a sample of the volatilities of the various
spreads generally on offer from the spread betting firms for groups of 6 to
8 matches as detailed in the spreadsheets. The
Excel spreadsheets for the
2003/2004 season contain all the volatilities for groups of 4 to 12 matches
and are sent to all members free of charge. |
