The World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies meant that there were no Premiership matches this week and the bets on the Nationwide Division One matches did not go totally according to plan. The week started well enough with Wimbledon failing to gain many corners at home but the lack of goals in Division One on Saturday meant that overall the  week showed a loss of 218. This reduces the total potential profit for the season to 4,814 (an average of nearly 690 profit per week). These potential bets are determined using the guidelines on the Weekly Reviews page.

A sell of the Wimbledon corner supremacy over Sheffield United at 2 with Cantor Sport (Soccer Spreads rating 0.4 - Makeup -2) for 75 per corner would have produced 300 profit.

A buy of the total goals in the five Division One matches at 14 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 14.78 - Makeup 9) for 70 per goal would have produced a loss of 350.

A buy of the Notts Forest bookings supremacy over Walsall at 4 with Cantor Sport (Soccer Spreads rating 9.1 - Makeup -10) for 12 per point would have produced a loss of 168.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9). The bet size is determined by using the formula: (840 * Difference between the Soccer Spreads Rating and the spread) / (Volatility * Volatility). For a full explanation of how these bets are determined please see 'How to use Soccer Spreads' and the Weekly Reviews).
