A disappointing week with only a few spread betting opportunities and only one decent result when Arsenal beat Man United 3-1. The complete lack of cards in the Burnley / Grimsby game and Alan Smith being sent off at Elland Road meant that the week showed an overall loss of 270. This reduces the total potential profit for the season to 5,102 (an average of over 560 profit per week). These potential bets are determined using the guidelines on the Weekly Reviews page.

A buy of the bookings index in the Burnley / Grimsby match at 26 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 35.9 - Makeup 0) for 15 per point would have produced a loss of 390.

A sell of the Burnley corner supremacy over Grimsby at 3.0 with Cantor Sport (Soccer Spreads rating 1.6 - Makeup 4) for 65 per corner would have produced a loss of 65.

A buy of the Rotherham mini performance against Man City at 11 with IG Index (Soccer Spreads rating 17.0 - Makeup 10) for 15 per point would have produced a loss of 15.

A buy of the Arsenal performance against Man United at 48 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 64.6 - Makeup 93) for 10 per point would have produced 450 profit.

A sell of the bookings index in the Leeds / Aston Villa match at 40 with Cantor Sport (Soccer Spreads rating 31.5 - Makeup 65) for 10 per point would have produced a loss of 250.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9). The bet size is determined by using the formula: (840 * Difference between the Soccer Spreads Rating and the spread) / (Volatility * Volatility).
