A busy week with some strange results which ended up costing us money. Wigan won 5-0 yet failed to gain a single corner, Leeds and Arsenal were on their best behaviour,  Wolves threw it all way in the last 15 minutes and Everton missed chance after chance against Chelsea. Some decent results when Bolton won at Tottenham and when the Everton / Chelsea game produced no cards helped to limit the damage but overall the week showed a loss of 476. This now reduces the total profit for the season so far to 116 (an average profit of nearly 20 per week). These potential bets are determined using the guidelines on the Weekly Reviews page.

A buy of the West Ham win index against Coventry at 13.5 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 18.0 - Makeup 10) for 32 per point would have produced a loss of 112.

A sell of the Sheffield United mini performance against Stoke at 22 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 16.0 - Makeup 25) for 14 per point would have produced a loss of 42.

A buy of the cross corners in the Wigan / Crystal Palace game at 27 with Sporting Index (Soccer Spreads rating 34.9 - Makeup 0) for 14 per point would have produced a loss of 378 profit.

A sell of the Wimbledon corner supremacy over Bradford at 0.5 with IG Index (Soccer Spreads rating minus 0.8 - Makeup minus 4) for 55 per corner would have produced 248 profit.

Please note that potential bets are only recorded if the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the best spread available is at least a quarter of the spread volatility (e.g. in order to bet on the total corners in a Premiership match the difference between the Soccer Spreads rating and the spread being offered must be at least 0.9). The bet size is determined by using the Excel spreadsheets which are sent to all members.
